Cat. #001425: HUNTLEY GORDON

Uncommon 6x8-inch sepia-tone bust portrait, dating to 1928, boldly signed and inscribed in black fountain pen.  In good condition for its age, with just a touch of edge wear.  It is possible that the image has been trimmed, but, if so, the job was rather handsomely done.  The reliable character actor of the silent and early talkie screens starred in the early horror film The Dark Mirror (1920), Ralph Ince's Reckless Youth (1922), The Great Divide (1925), The Golden Cocoon (1925), Our Dancing Daughters (1928), the Bela Lugosi flick Murder by Television (1935), Stage Door (1937), and Lady Scarface (1941).
